Today was a hot one! I was in Nashville for the day celebrating Matthew's birthday and I didnt get to Keishias till late in the afternoon, just in time for dinner! Of course! They just had a relaxing day. Mom and Dad watched Aimsley for a bit while Keishia and Chase made a much needed trip to town!! But all in all great day.
I am a first time Aunt! My perfect little niece was born on March 31, 2012. I am going to blog as much as I can so that all our friends and family who do not get to see her daily can watch her grow!!! Also I will share some trials and tribulations of the first time parents Keishia and Chase!!!

Bottle!!
So Friday was Aimsley's first night taking a bottle from Keishia's pumping. Pretty soon, I'm sure sooner than Keishia would like, Keishia will be going to work and Aimsley will be in daycare. So this will be no fun for Mommy! I wasn't there to see the bottle but I heard it went ok! I'm sure it will get better. And now Chase gets to feed Aimsley and so do I! A little exciting!!

London Bridges
So I went to visit little Bunny yesterday because it had been a little while since I had seen her. She was a little fussy most of the night. We tried to watch tv, fail. That really is hard when you have a screaming baby! Before I left I helped Keishia and Chase give her a bath. She really liked bath time and after she was getting fussy again so I was just dancing around trying to sooth her in any way. Well randomly I started humming the tune of London Bridges and by the time I was done I was singing it in barnyard animal voices....this girl is making me crazy!!Yes I know, hilarious but it worked. After going through ducks, cats, dogs, chickens, and cows multiple times Aimsley finally went to sleep. I guess you gotta do what you gotta do huh?

Change is coming too fast
Little girl is changing way too fast. I feel like if we blink our eyes we are going to miss something. She will be talking before we know it and I have a feeling she is gonna be a lot like her Aunt Kei Kei, hyper!!! Lets hope so! Those are the best ones anyways : ) Aimsley had a rough night with a little bit of a tummy ache but seems fine today!!! Long night for her momma though!! Welcome to parenthood!

Business in the front, party in the back
Bunny misses everyone! I know I miss her!!! We were surprised that Aimsley was born with so much hair and everyone was like oh it will fall out...well they were wrong! She still has all of her hair and then some!!! She actually has a little mullet...I told her she was a little redneck like her aunt Kei Kei....business in the front, party in the back! HAHA

Getting more and more Active!
Aimsley is getting more and more active which means she is getting more and more fussy! I had to dance around for 30 minutes with her and if I stopped dancing she would cry. We try putting her in the swing and that worked for about 20 minutes then she started crying again! It was really funny how I was walking over to the swing she would stop crying. Then when she figured out I wasn't going to take her out she would squall again. Hilarious. That girl already knows how to get what she wants! She is spoiled rotten!

Missing Her
Well I officially haven't seen Aimsley since Saturday. Its killing me. I have just been so busy with friend's birthdays this week I haven't had the chance to. But Keishia keeps us entertained all day with pictures. Aimsley got a bath today. She can be emerged now that her umbilical cord has fallen off. She still hates them lol. But anyways, nothing new today. Just a healthy growing little girl!!!

Squealing Machine
Well Keishia has discovered that Aimsley does NOT like Bentley's bark. If you don't know Bentley he is Keishia's Chihuahua that she has had since she was a sophomore in college. But he has been really good with Aimsley. Doesn't mind her one bit. Keishia can lay her in the floor and Bentley really doesn't bother her. He just stares at his toy and waits for it to move like always. Well in the last couple of days since Aimsley has been getting more verbal and making more sounds she doesn't like Bentley's bark. If she is sleeping, or fake sleeping and Bentley barks, she squeals. HAHA I was on the phone with Keishia and Bentley barked and Aimsley let out this squeal and I about died. So cute! More pictures below by Julia Christopher and my father!
April 14-16
Shew what a busy weekend!!! I was hunting most of the weekend! No luck though! Anyways Aimsley had a very relaxing weekend. She went to town on Saturday with Grammy and Keishia to run some errands. Nothing too exciting. On Sunday she took pictures with Julia Christopher. They turned out so good! Ill have some posted below. On Monday she had a doctor's appointment. Aimsley now weighs 7 pounds 5 ounces and is 20 1/2 inches long I believe. So she is growing everyday! I don't want her to grow up yet. She is doing a great job with holding her head up for a little bit and things like that. Also there is more and more noises starting to happen . I believe she will start cooing very soon! I always said the coolest thing as a parent is when you talk to your child and they actually start talking back. I can't wait for this to happen! Aimsley also went to the park for a walk with Keishia and Chase! I haven't heard yet how this went. She look snug as a bug in her stroller so I'm sure she loved it. Ok enjoy the pictures below. There are lots from the whole weekend!!!
