These are a few of my favorite things!!

Aimsley is 10 months old today! Her stats checked in at 15 pounds and 10 ounces!!! She is still gradually gaining weight but will possibly be the littliest 1 year old ever! I don't know where she gets it from because me and Keishia were pretty chubby babies! I am going to dedicate this post to some of Aimsley's favorite things!!! She loves any toy that she can stand up with and play with! These are her most favorite! Also she loves to stack her blocks and read books! She is now starting to become attached to things like a blanket or a doll. She almost always has to have something in her hands! She also LOVES the Ipad. Grammy shows her lots of nursery rhymes on it and she just smiles and smiles!! We have a very happy little girl on our hands! If only our own lives were that simple!

Nashville!

Keishia and Chase spent this past weekend in Nashville visiting friends from college! Lynn and Tex and Joe and Jessica were friends they had through the years and now they all have children! They had a day of shopping at Oprymills and let the kids hang out and play!!! Although we missed Aimsley this weekend we are glad they all had fun!!!

Food, Food, and more Food

Aimsley is loving eating!! She eats 3 meals a day just like a normal baby! Finally something normal about the child! Lol! Her typical meals daily include pancakes made from Quinoa and blueberries and breast milk! Then she is always snacking on Chee Cha Puffs! They are just pure potatoes and they melt in her mouth! For lunch she usually has cooked ground beef with some noodles and carrots!! And for dinner she usually has a little bit of what we are eating! Like potatoes or carrots or something like that! She likes pears too! She also loves sweet potatoes, apple sauce, and drinking water from her sippy!! She is turning into such a big girl!!!

9 Month Checkup

Aimsley had her 9 month checkup yesterday. She weighs 14 pounds 9 ounces and is 27 inches long! She is tall and skinny! She is still in 3-6 month shirts and onesie's but she has to wear 9 month pants because she is so tall. We actually have to take them up because they are too big around the waste! Although small, Aimsley is very healthy and we couldn't be more thankful! So far she has not had anymore FPIES reactions thank goodness! Still just bananas and green beans. I will share some of her favorite foods soon!!!

Happy New Year!!

Its a New Year!! I love the beginning of the New Year! Its like a fresh start. But I do have to say I'm not quite sure if I was ready for 2012 to end. It was one of the best years I have had. Not only did I gain a beautiful niece, I feel like I really became a woman! I got a new job making more money that has allowed me to become more independent! It just seems as if everything is falling into place! I am really enjoying growing up! I don't know why everyone else hates it so much! This part of my life has been very memorable!

It has not been such a great beginning of the New Year for the Embry's. The stomach virus has invaded their house. Aimsley has gotten the stomach bug and is not feeling very well. We are hoping she will start feeling better soon! In the meantime I will post some pictures from Aimsley and Aunt Kei Kei Thursday of this past week!! Our girl is getting very big.
