Drinking out of Cups!

Aimsley is now drinking out of a straw. We have been working with her and at first she would just put the straw in her mouth, bite down, then look up at us and smile! She thought she was such a big girl!! But now she can drink out of her own cup with a straw!!

 Aimsley also for the first time just randomly fell asleep in the floor. The saw some pillows and thought that they looked quite comfy and decided to take a little snooze. She has been spoiled and has always had to be rocked to sleep but not this particular night. So funny!

Happy Valentine's Day

Yesterday was Aimsley 1st Valentine's Day and her daddy spoiled her rotten! She got a pair of pearl earrings for when they decide to get her ears pierced! I am a HUGE fan of pearls and only the classiest of ladies wear them! So glad Aimsley is getting started early!!! I hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day!

First Steps!!!

Aimsley had her first steps last night! We got it on video too and you would have thought that UK won the National Championship by a last second shot. We all screamed and scared her half to death. Poor thing...she will never walk again! She took about 4 steps and I am so glad that I was there to be a part of it!

I also want to wish a Happy Anniversary to my wonderful parents! Without them I wouldn't be here and neither would Aimsley! I am so blessed to have parents like them! Check out the two little teeth below!!!

First Snow Day

Aimsley had her first snow day!!! The pictures are hilarious. Mom bought her this snow suit and said that we had one when we were little. She literally looks like a marshmallow.  So funny! But she seemed to like the snow!!!

Big Girl Car Seat

Aimsley has outgrown her car seat! Her other only let her lay down and she likes to sit up and watch the Ipad when she is in the car. Her legs are also long enough to where they were touching seat so we needed something a little bigger. This seat will grow with her until she doesn't need one anymore! So far she loves it! She also loves bath time! And Aimsley officially has 2 teeth!!! You can kind of see them in the bottom picture! I love how when she smiles she smiles with all she has!

These are a few of my favorite things!!

Aimsley is 10 months old today! Her stats checked in at 15 pounds and 10 ounces!!! She is still gradually gaining weight but will possibly be the littliest 1 year old ever! I don't know where she gets it from because me and Keishia were pretty chubby babies! I am going to dedicate this post to some of Aimsley's favorite things!!! She loves any toy that she can stand up with and play with! These are her most favorite! Also she loves to stack her blocks and read books! She is now starting to become attached to things like a blanket or a doll. She almost always has to have something in her hands! She also LOVES the Ipad. Grammy shows her lots of nursery rhymes on it and she just smiles and smiles!! We have a very happy little girl on our hands! If only our own lives were that simple!

Nashville!

Keishia and Chase spent this past weekend in Nashville visiting friends from college! Lynn and Tex and Joe and Jessica were friends they had through the years and now they all have children! They had a day of shopping at Oprymills and let the kids hang out and play!!! Although we missed Aimsley this weekend we are glad they all had fun!!!
